Music Spotlight - Information for Writers - March 2006 Firstly, thanks for taking an interest in writing for the site. Music Spotlight is currently looking for writers to provide reviews of albums, singles, classic albums + gig reviews. In addition, if you have any ideas for regular features (e.g. writing the Essentials page, local scene round-ups etc) then please feel free to contact me. No previous experience is necessary, and there is no word limit on the reviews, although for a rough guideline: anywhere around 200-500 words for an album and around 100-200 for a single is good. You can submit reviews in a number of ways: - email them to contact@musicspotlight.co.uk - post them in the forums under the Music Spotlight Area - through PM on Editors message board (editorsofficial.co.uk/forum) username: TheCedarRoom Classic albums can be any albums, no matter how old. In addition, reviews of current releases are required, and a list of the forthcoming release schedule can be found at the following address: http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=5 If you require any further information, please contact me at: contact@musicspotlight.co.uk
