Scottish 6-piece The Birthday Suit provide this week’s Track of the Week in the shape of “Uh-Huh Uh-Huh”, the first track on their recently released second album “A Conversation Well Rehearsed”.
With indie-rock favourites Idlewild currently on indefinite hiatus, The Birthday Suit were formed by guitarist Rod Jones and released their debut album “The Eleventh Hour” towards the end of 2011. “A Conversation Well Rehearsed” builds on the sound of their debut album and while the influence of Idlewild remains, The Birthday Suit are continuing to form a distinctive sound of their own with some impressive songwriting to create an album packed with memorable songs.
